Q: Why should you book your room before arrival?
A: This is the reason to reduce your own cost of boat transfer from Phutakien Pier (Resotel pier) to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts. When you book in advance, we will automatically manage a joined boat transfer (if boat transfer is inclusive in your package). This is much cheaper than the cost of single/ individual ride. It is totally the actual cost of the fuel which we gain nothing from.
Q: What is the best way to get to River Kwai Jungle Rafts from Bangkok?
A: Our Package tours suggest the most convenient and economical mean. We will pick you up at a major hotel in the city and take care of you all the way to River Kwai Jungle Rafts. It’s easy, convenient and safe. Alternatively, taking a train from BKK to Namtok station in Kanchanburi province is also one of the popular ways. Then, hiring a minibus from the station to Phutakien Pier (Resotel pier) or Paksang pier.
Q: Can a private transport from Bangkok to Jungle Rafts be arranged?
A: Definitely. A private transportation with a driver can be arranged upon request. You will be traveling in a new air-conditioned van with an experienced driver from our partnership company.
Q: How long does it take from Bangkok to Jungle Rafts?
A: It takes approx. 2.40 hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi by car, and then continue for another 45 minutes to Jungle Rafts.
Q: How often is the boat transfer service from Phutakien Pier (Resotel pier) to Jungle Rafts?
A: Normally the service is every hour according to check in and check out times. Check in Time: 1 pm – 6 pm and Check out Time: 8am – 12pm (noon). If you prefer to take a private boat transfer, you can pick anytime you like, with an extra cost.
Q: How long does the boat take to the resort?
A: From Pakseng pier, it takes approx. 40 mins.
From Phutakien Pier (Resotel pier), it takes approx. 15 mins.
Q: Is the boat transfer to the resort free-of-charge?
A: Free transfers / scheduled boat transfer is every hour as per Check in Time: 1 pm – 6 pm and Check out Time: 8am – 12pm (noon). Besides from this, you need to hire the boat transfer at 1000 baht / boat / trip. Please contact us if you need more information.
Q: Is the boat the only way to get to your resort?
A: Yes. To conserve our unique natural environment. This makes River Kwai Jungle Rafts unique.
Q: Why don’t we use electricity?

Q: Why do you charge the rate per person?
A: We rather offer you package rates/person/night which includes all your meals and roundtrip boat transfer. This gives you convenience and save you from hassling with public transportation.
Q: Can we get a room for all 4 people in our family – the children want to stay with us ?
A: Children not over the age of 12 are allowed to stay in the same bedroom with the parents.
Q: We will be arriving individually by car. Is there a parking at the pier?
A: Yes. We provide secured & free-of-charge parking for our valuable guests.
Q: What is the best time to visit River Kwai Jungle Rafts ?
A: All year round indeed. It is very green in monsoon. It is cool with morning fog in winter. It is warm and full of sunshine in summer.
Q: How many adults are allowed to share in one room ?
A: Maximum 3 adults are allowed to share in one room.
