To conserve our unique concept, River Kwai Jungle Rafts does not use electricity. Guests will live in a total nature hideaway from busy daily life.
Our floating restaurants give an unparalleled dining experience under thousands of brilliant stars while the historical River Kwai runs under it. Dine under the clear blue sky and overlook the river flowing in its own pace. The ambience will tickle your taste buds and make the delicious Thai and Western cuisine even better. At night, overwhelmed by the romantic atmosphere from hundreds of lights from the maps and the sound of river whispering.
Mon dance is a rare performance that you would witness only in this area of Thailand. The reason why Cultural Mon Dance Show at River Kwai Jungle Rafts resort is unique is because ours is authentic and original passing through generations. The dancers are our Mon Villagers. They are guided by a master who lived in Myanmar back in the age that Mon dance performance can be seen in many places in Myanmar. Now it is hard-to-see. Our Mon dance is an authentic live orchestra with traditional brass music instrument and Mon villagers are the performers.
Beach is not only place to get tanned. Here you can just lay down on bamboo pier which also appears to be a part of your room balcony listening to the river’s whisper. Sun bathing in the tropical jungle is actually better than on a beach due to higher level of air moist that helps to protect your skin.
"A few steps to the left of it, is the Thai massage area. This was my favorite part of the hotel! No windows, no walls, just old recycled wood floors, bamboos ceilings and mattresses laying on the floor one next to the other." In the evening, you can view River Kwai’s majestic sunset from the massage raft.
Parking facility is at Phukatian Pier (Resotel pier). There is NO road access to our floating hotel. All GPS must be at the pier only not the resort name.
